Make it digital, of course!!

E! News Network is launching one of the largest digital outdoor marketing campaings we’ve seen yet. The billboards are being used to promote the new E! New Breaking News Network and will be featured on 125 digital billboards in 20 major markets. The billboards will feature Giuliana Rancic and Ryan Seacrest with dynamically inserted headlines and dates to keep the content fresh. Key markets for the eight-week campaign include Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Cleveland and Dallas.

The headlines can be edited and managed from one main switchboard instaneously. This is great news for the outdoor advertising industry seeing as one a “slot” on one of the digital billboards costs about the same as a regular static billboard… and one digital billboard can rotate 6 to 7 ads. This will help revive the outdoor adveritsing industry AND eventually could drive down the price for a billboard “slot”. Win, win?! We’ll find out.

Just be sure you don’t gaze at the snazzy billboard too long!!! Eyes on the road.
